Dogs are permitted on-lead along Darwins Walk. Dogs are permitted on-lead along Darwins Walk. However, be advised that there are steel-serrated bridges and lengths of elevated boardwalks along the way. Some dogs do not like the feel of these under their paws, or seeing how high they are above the ground through the walkway. Blue Mountains City Council manages Darwins Walk, except for the last 40m (before Weeping Rock) where it enters the Blue Mountains National Park. The National Park entrance is signposted. Dogs are not permitted in the National Park. This means dog walkers will need to return the same way they came, back along Darwins Walk.
